About the Conference
The Law Enforcement Community Engagement Conference, hosted by the Clarke County Sheriff's Office, is a 4-day conference held in Athens, GA that brings together law enforcement personnel from across Georgia and neighboring states to present Active Shooter, Self-care and First Responders, Protecting our Schools, De-escalation Techniques in the Field, Cyber Security, Preventing Gang Violence, and other innovative topics.
Attendees can then mirror what they have learned in their own agencies and communities. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to gain up to 20 POST Credit Hours.
In addition to the work aspect, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the UGA Football Facilities, attend a Meet & Greet and Banquet (both included in the registration price) and fellowship with fellow law enforcement. Also included in the registration price is the Wednesday Prayer Breakfast.
We are proud to announce that this year's conference is returning to The Classic Center in Athens, GA.
Early registration fee is $249 through May 31, 2023. As of June 1, 2023 registration fee will be $299.
