About the Conference
The 2025 Law Enforcement Community Engagement (LECE) Conference, hosted by Sheriff John Q. Williams and the Clarke County Sherrif's Office, is a four-day event that brings together law enforcement professionals from across Georgia and the Southeast to discuss key topics, share innovative strategies, and enhance community engagement.

- Learn from expert speakers on innovative topics. Past sessions included Peer Support in Law Enforcement, Leadership and Culture Change, Street Gangs and their Impact on Communities, Building an Air-tight Case, Protecting Our Schools, De-escalation Techniques, and more
- Gain valuable insights to apply in your agency and community.
In addition to the work aspect, all attendees have the opportunity to join us for the Welcome Cookout at the CCSO Training Center on Sunday 8/17/25, attend a Meet & Greet and Banquet (both included in the registration price) and fellowship with fellow law enforcement. Also included in the registration price is the Wednesday Prayer Breakfast and Insiders Tour of UGA's Football Training Facility.
We are proud to announce that this year's conference is returning to The Classic Center in Athens, GA.
Early registration fee is $249 through May 31, 2025. As of June 1, 2025, registration fee will be $299.
